Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSETo assist the Senior Project Manager in planning and monitoring of projects and maintenance works and to ensure work progress smoothly and completed within target time and budget. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure that site works are carried out accordingly based on approved detailed drawings and requirements of relevant authorities.
- Allocate resources such as manpower, materials and equipment for every assigned project.
- Conduct site measurements and inspections to determine the actual scope of services, type of construction material, specifications and other technical requirements.
- Analyze engineering drawings and plan in preparation of Method Statement and Job Safety Analysis Matrix.
- Attend coordination meeting with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and project team.
- Perform job costing in preparation of Bill of Quantities and quotation.
- Liaise with sub-contractors on design/drawing revisions and other technical matters.
- Control the quality and workmanship of the work process of the sub-contractors.
- Conduct inspection of completed project with clients.
- Responsible for the preparation of the following documents; Job Safety Analysis, Method Statement, Lifting Plans, Ventilation Plan, Rescue Plan, Mobilization & Demobilization Plan, Floor Plan, Road Closure and Re-routing Plan and Environmental Plan.
REQUIREMENTS
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- At least 3 - 5 years relevant experience gained from a Civil/Marine construction industry
